But today a federal court said the CIA does not have to reveal which schools are involved in its intelligence gather- ing activities. The court ruled against a student who wanted the CIA to confirm or deny whether it had contacts at the University of California. The student said he should be allowed to get that information under the Freedom of Information Act. But the court ruled it would be dangerous for the CIA to discuss its contacts. Bill Kamal is here.
