A wake for Casey, 74, who died Wednesday of pneumo- nia, was held ;it hi esl4t4e in exclusive Roslyn harbor, a Shultz is among dignitaries Tudor-style mansion on six acres off busy Glenwood Road. A security force of CIA and Secret Service agents and Nassau County police screened visitors at the gate to the property, which bor- ders on- a golf course and the baxban.; R??eae4g0 tEd barred. Shultz, his wife and more than 100 other visitors were greeted at the door by Casey's widow, Sophia, and his only child, Bernadette Smith. Shultz arrived in a motor- cade at 1:30 p.m. and stayed 20 minutes before returning to Washington. Other dignitaries were ex- pected in Long Island today, the second day of the wake, and for his funeral Mass at T R. Qt. tomstrowv at -St. Mary's Catholic Church in Roslyn Harbor. President Reagan is to at- tend the Mass at St. Mary's, a small, brick-front church on a hill overlooking the harbor. The church 'seats about 340, and attendance is expected to be by invitation only. Casey, an adviser to Presi- dents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Reagan, headed the Central Intelligence Agency for six years. He died six months after surgery to re- move a malignant brain tu- mor. On Feb. 2, almost two months after surgery, he re- signed as CIA chief under a cloud of questions about the spy agency's role in the Iran- Contra scandal. His death left many questions unanswered.
