SUMMARY: Re Letter of 15 August 1984 from Senator Symmss. A series of misunder-
standings resulted in no response being given to OLL for transmittal to
Senator Symmes' Boise office.
I called Marsha Hall to apologize for the lack of response, stating I had
been away on leave and the letter was apparently overlooked. Marsha a
explanation, had no problems with the delay, and then stated a cousin
of the deceased is the individual who is inquiring about a me a e e ieve
received from the CIA. father (Marsha believes to be brot
mother) was told by father that was employed by CIA. aan

I explained to Marsha that I was havirm,-old files searched to determine what
information we might have on subject, and also emphasized that perhaps I would not be

will await hearing from us.
