I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for
interrupting your busy schedule to speak to our recent FOIA/PA
symposium. It was extremely helpful for our people to hear
your comments on what the expectations of Congress are now that
the partial relief bill has passea and also your views on the
history of the bill and the factors which led to its passage.
This type of presentation increases the sensitivity of our
people to the needs of the puolic in having access to govern-
ment records as provided for by the Freedom of information Act.
