Dear Mr. Chairman:
This is in response our letter of 12 December 1984
with a copy of a letter sent to
President Reagan.
is concerned that he is '...under the
surveillance, arrassment and torture...by the Central
Intelligence Agency,' instigated by the National Marine
Fisheries Service. Please assure that under
Executive order 12333, signed by President Reagan on
4 December 1981, the CIA is prohibited from conducting such
activities as described by him.
A search of Agency records surfaced no information
pertaining to The absence of any information in
our files indicates that we have had no interest in your
constituent.
