In case you missed the attached letter or have not connected
it with your 24 April memo to me, be assured that we are aware
of Dick Cheney's interest and will indicate to the Subcommittee
that we support H.R. 1981 for the relief
Since the Committee hearing is open, we will not appear, but we
will make certain that our support is known to appropriate staff
and Members. We have also called Cheney's office this morning
to assure them that we are aware and on board.
