Chappell Jr., (D., FL) and Joseph M. McDade
(R., PA)
On Tuesday 20 May, you and I will meet with Repre-
sentatives Bill Chappell, Jr., and Joseph McDade of the House
Appropriations Defense Subcommittee. Mr. Chappell is the new
Chairman the Subcommittee, replacing the late Mr.
Addabbo.
Possible topics for discussion would be:
-- Their views of fiscal austerity measures and how the
Agency will fare in budget cuts.
-- Their interest in possible additional legislation to
prevent "leaks". (Both were very interested in the
Yurchenko and Howard cases and the role "leaks" may
have played in them).
