MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: HPSCI Request for Documents on Iran/Contra Funding
1. On 2 December 1986, Tom Latimer called and requested
that the following documents be made available to the HPSCI:
a. A memorandum, prepared in October 1985 by Charlie
Allen, NIO/CT, in which Allen expresses his concerns to
the DCI regarding the "money differences and operational
concerns relating to activities directed toward Iran."
Tom said that Allen mentioned this document during his
meeting with certain HPSCI staffers on 1 December 1986.
According to Tom, the DCI took this document to the White
House.
b. Any Memoranda for the Record concerning Iran
that was prepared by Tom Tweeten, C/NE.
2. Tom wishes a response to this request as soon as
possible.
