SUBJECT: Stilwell Report
1. Attached is the latest version of Section VII of the
Stilwell Report which we received on 23 July 1986. The report has
been revised to reflect the comments received after its initial
circulation within the Agency. You should note that the proposal
to amend the Privacy Act has been deleted from this version of the
report.
2. This office would certainly welcome the views of OIS with
respect to this latest version of the Report. This Report is also
being reviewed by the offices of General Counsel, Personnel and
Security. General Stilwell's office has requested that they
receive our views by 7 August. If there is a difficulty in
meeting this deadline, please contact me and I will attempt to
obtain-an extension of the due date. Thank you for your
cooperation in this matter.
