We have been required by the Chairman of the House Foreign
Affa' Africa to review the activities of
a South African company and its
i is es wi regar to the Comprehensive Anti-Apartheid
Act of 1986 (PL 99-440 of October 2, 1986). The work will
be performed under assignment code 463761 and will begin in
Washington on or about late October 1987.
We will focus on such 1GSI1PC as
Mr. Stewart L. Tomlinson, Group Director in the National
Security and International Affairs Division's Security and
International Relations Group, is responsible for conduct-
ing this assignment. He or members of his staff will
contact your designated representative to discuss their
needs further as the scope of this review is developed. In
the meantime, if you have any further questions, they can
