The Attorney General will be meeting with the leadership of
the Justice/Interior Ministers from the EC-12 countries, col-
lectively known as the TREVI Troika. This series of meetings
will take place 8-10 December 1987 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The
focus of the meetings will be specific counter-terrorism"program a'
and United States cooperation with EC-12 efforts This is the
fourth such set of meetings to which the Attorney General. has
been invited.
In addition, the Attorney General may conduct bilateral
discussions with the Federal Republic of Germany, Danish, French,
Belgian, Greek, Italian, British and Canadian delegations.
Please have your staff provide any issue papers, talking
points and background materials that you believe will be of
direct support to the Attorney General in preparation for
hese meetings. These materials should be received by
