Paloma Picasso, National, Honorary Chairperson, has invited you to attend
the Hispanic Designers Gala, a black tie affair scheduled for September 14th
in the Grand Ball Room of the J.W. Marriott Hotel. Tickets start at $150 per
person and proceeds of the benefit will help Hispanic students of design.
Since you will be traveling overseas in September and will not be able to
attend, I have attached a letter of regret. Or, if your prefer, a preprinted

I want4to tell you about the upcoming Hispanic
Designers Gala - a special event and fashion
show which recognizes the achievements of
Hispanics in the fashion world.
The Hispanic Designers Gala will be held in two
locations during National Hispanic Heritage Week
-- Saturday, September 12 in Los Angeles and
Monday, September 14 in Washington, D.C.
I thought you would be interested in knowing
about this event which recognizes Hispanic
excellence and gives our Hispanic youth*positive
role models. Tile proceeds from our shows
benefit both Hispanic women's organizations and
needy Hispanic students in accredited fashion
schools.
Major designers are honored at the show, such
as: Carolina Herrera, Adolfo, and Oscar de la
Renta. It is also filmed for a special t.v.
show in Spanish and English and is shown in all
of the major Hispanic markets in the U.S. I
hope to see you at one of the events this year.
