D. C.2050i STAT Bishop George L. Cadigan Dear George: ER 0633-88 February 16, 1988 It was nice to receive your letter and good to hear from you. I envy you your time at Amherst. Just last week,. I attended a local alumni function where we had the pleasure of hearing.. Chuck Eldridge give a walking tour of modern traditional Indian art at Renwick Gallery. It was very enjoyable and very meaningful to me as I have a small but discreet Great Plains collection. I am glad to know of Scott Williams and of his interest in becoming a law enforcement officer after graduation. While I was at the Bureau, we had an honors program for a number of undergraduate interns during the summer months: I am going to pass your letter along to Bill Baker, now my Director of Public Affairs at the Agency, who was active in setting up the program at the FBI. I will ask that he pass along your letter about Scott and that the Bureau official in charge of the program send along whatever application forms are currently in-effect. If the program is for any reason no longer avail-able, I will pass that back to you. I am confident that it is still going well, however. I used to meet with the inte--ns and found them to be an especially challenging group. Scott Williams as you describe him would definitely be of, interest to the selection committee. With warm regards always, Sincerely, Distribution: Orig - Adse l..- DCI 1 - PAO a~ ER William H.
