Just a note to thank you for the invitation to the
White House Correspondents dinner. It was a most
enjoyable evening, made all the more so by the opportunity
to meet Robert Mossbacher. (Trust me: the secret saga
of the crossed correspondence is safe with me.)
I also enjoyed the lunch, although as I told Bill Safire,
I'm glad the silverware didn't have the Agency seal on it.
