The meeting will be held at the Clarion Hotel in St. Louis. You are requested to participate in a panel with US Attorney General for the Eastern Region, Tom Dittmeier, and Prosecuting Attorney for the city of St. Louis, George Peach. The suggested format is for each of you to give 15 - 20 minutes of remarks followed by a question and answer period. The suggested topic is "Crime: An International Dileimna." You could expect an audience of 250 in attendance, including 180 high school sophomores. Chief Justice Warren Burger is invited to speak at another session of the meeting. The media will not be invited to cover the conference. Although Mr. Knight mentioned in his letter that you had been asked previously to address one of their conferences, there was no record of this in the FBI's or Agency's files. The date of the HOBY Conference, 4 August, could conflict with any August vacation plans that you might have. in addition, the ABA .Conference which you may wish to attend is scheduled from 4 - 11 August in Toronto.
