As I am sure you are aware, the United States Senate has established an Office of Senate Security. One of the aims of this office is to educate the Members and staff members of the Senate regarding security matters. 2. The Acting Director of the Office of Senate Security, Mr. Mike DiSilvestro, has advised that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has agreed to begin "counter-intelligence briefings" which they will present approximately six times over a period of several months. The idea is to have this briefing open to all staff and Members. It is felt that by presenting the briefing several times they should be able to accommodate everyone's schedule. 3. Mr. DiSilvestro would like to discuss with CIA Security any educational briefing we feel we could present which would benefit the staff and Members of the Senate (if any).
