I am writing to request the transcript of an executive

Director William Colby provided a briefing on the situation in
Chile.
Since 1973, the Central Intelligence Agency has held the
only copies of the transcript for safekeeping. The Foreign
Relations Committee now wishes to review this transcipt in
connection with an ongoing investigation of its Subcommittee on
Terrorism, Narcotics and International Operations. I
understand that this transcipt is considered secret and am
prepared to accept it on a classified basis. The document will
be retained in an appropriately secure facility.
