Dear Mr. Snider:

We met today with Kirk Robertson and Kimberly Weaver, staffers
from the Federal Services, Post Office and Civil Service
Subcommittee to go over Agency and Community problems with the
Commercial Activities Act. You will recall that and I. STAT
briefed you and KeithHall regarding our concerns about this bill..
The staffers agreed that the Intelligence Community should be
exempted. They will write a letter to Senator Reid (D., Nev.)
sponsor of the bill, and to Senator Pryor, Chairman of the Federal
Services Subcommittee, describing our problems and recommending that
they introduce and support an amendment exempting the Intelligence
Community during mark-up whiCh is to take place within the next few
weeks.
Robertson or Weaver May call', you to verify that the SSCI is
behind our proposed exemption, would appreciate your support. If
