Enclosed for your information is a copy of a letter we have
received from Members of Congress requesting information
concerning implementation of the Civil Rights Restoration Act
of 1987 by the CIA. Also enclosed is a copy of the Agency's
response to that letter to Chairman Hawkins.
As noted in the response, we stand ready to work with the
Committee to ensure that the Agency is indeed operating in
compliance with the objectives of the Civil Rights Restoration
Act.
