Thank you for your letter and report on The MASINT 25X1
Committee is interested in any phenomena that we can apply to enhance the
nation's security. Your report is interesting and bears further review.
Although we cannot help you in getting the report published since the
Committee did not sponsor the effort, we may on the other hand be of some
help. Assuming your concurrence, I have taken the following actions. 25X1
I have forwarded a copy of your report to the US Army member on the MASINT
Committee, Mr. Manuel Pablo. Mr. Pablo can be called at 202-695-5063. I have
asked Manny to review the document and prepare a brief synopsis for
presentation to the MASINT Committee at some future date. I have also asked
him to determine if the concept has potential in an intelligence application,
and to c?k? a possible presentation to the Committee at sometime in the
future.
I have also forwarded a copy to one of our organizations in the
Intelligence Community who are presently conducting an in-depth review of
requirements and technology associated with the
measurements of potential intelligence targets. I will ask them to consider
your work in their deliberations.
Finally, I have forwarded a copy of your report to one of our working
groups and asked them to review the work and provide a report back to the
MASINT Committee Staff, as their workload permits.
