Following our meeting on the general subject matter on 22 February in our
offices, I called in the Special Security Center. You will recall STAT
I suggested that the 4C computer system might prove to be of assistance in
identifying certain parameters and details relative to reserve personnel
holding SCI accesses. supplied the attached list of US Navy STAT
billet numbers and the corresponding office or position for which SCI accesses
are authorized. aid not know whether Army and Air Force records STAT
would reveal the same type of information. Stated otherwise, he was to ask
those services if their billet numbers in themselves would identify the
incumbent as a reservist. I have not heard the outcome of the queries to Army
and Air Force that Data Base Manager was to make. You advised STAT
in our meeting that you would explore similar approaches with your parent
organization, Defense Intelligence Agency. If you intend to pursue this
matter further and if either this office or the DCI Security Forum can assist,
please do not hesitate to call for additional discussions. 25X1
