SUBJECT: NSDDs Relating to Counterintelligence (C)
As we move into the last year of the Administration and to
prepare for upcoming hearings on counterintelligence and the
Intelligence Authorization Act funding to be held in late March,
John Lewis of my staff furnished a list of all NSDDs issued
during this Administration relating to counterintelligence to
Acting Director, Community Counterintelligence and 25X1
Security Countermeasures Office of the IC Staff. (C)
It would be extremely beneficial if your staff could determine
the status of the implementation of these NSDDs and furnish the
results to the NSC. You may wish to also furnish the results of
this review to the Interagency Group on Counterintelligence
(IG-CI) which is now chaired by Director Sessions of the FBI.
