SUBJECT: Intelligence Collector/Producer Seminar on Counternarcotics
1. Bill Kotapish and I have decided to modify the agenda for the 27 July
seminar. Basically, we want to probe deeper into the intelligence needs of
our consumers who spoke at the 21 July 1988 NIO/Counternarcotics Warning and
Forecast meeting to help both producers and collectors better focus their
limited resources and identify areas for future investment. Therefore, we
have expanded the attendance of the meeting to include representatives of our

improve US intelligence support related to specific counternarcotics
activities (interdiction, law enforcement, and support to international
programs) as well as any global initiatives that should be considered within
the Community.
