Paper Regarding U.S. International Satellite
Policy
The Senior Interagency Group. on International
Communications and Information Policy co-chaired by Under
Secretary Derwinski of the Department of State and Assistant
Secretary Sikes of the Department of Commerce will meet at 3:00
p.m., 11 February 1988, in Room 5859 at the Department of
Commerce. -
I have attached a preliminary analysis and options paper
prepared by the SIG Working Group on U.S. International
Satellite Policy for your agency's review. It includes a
proposal from the Council of Economic Advisors which will also
be discussed at the meeting. I look forward to your; or your
representative's, active participation.
