(C) Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Inter-American
Affairs Michael Kozak will chair a National Security Council
Policy Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting that will review
U.S. policy on Television Marti on May 16, 1989 at 3: p.m.
The meeting will take place in the ARA Conference Roo
Room 6909.
(U) The meeting will be at the Assistant Secretary level and
attendance limited to principals plus one. Participants should
telephone attendance to the Office of the Coordinator for Cuban
Affairs (ARA/CCA) at the Department of State, 647-9272.
(C) The purpose of the meeting is to follow up on the March 31
PCC meeting on TV Marti. We will review issues still
outstanding from the agenda of the previous meeting (see
attached). No paper will be circulated prior to the May 16
meeting. The PCC will decide at the meeting what future
actions to take.
