The use of medicine to accomplish specific goals of the Agency are limited only by one's lack of imagination and availability of resources. MOD (Medical Operations Division) has an overseas as well as a domestic capability to support a variety of operational requirements. In both areas we utilize Agency physicians, psychiatrists, Medical Services Officers as well as cleared non-Agency physicirland psychiatrists. Hqs 25X1 has approximately physicians an psychiatrists cleared for operational use. Cleared medical personnel in the overseas 25X1 environment are limited to those assigned to medical 25X1 facilities. Medical Dersonnel assigned to 25X1 and to some degree will have a more direct access to such consultants than the others. Although we work with all of the Agency's Directorates, the DDO is the biggest user of MOD's operational support. 2. Medical Operations Division has 4 Branches I. Field Activities Branch a. Training Program One individual is assigned to monitor the Headquarters and overseas medical training programs. These consist primarily of CPR and Medical Preparedness taught to a variety of Headquarters and overseas audiences. A number of specific requests from within 25X1 the DDO to medically train individuals 25X1 25X1 25X1 to instruct members on specific overseas missions or Headquarters types working on specific projects where they might be prone to a specific injury are also the responsibility of this office.
