FOR THE FIRST TIME.
2. (S%JN) REMARKS: TWO SA-8 SURFACE-TO-AIR MISSILE (SAM)
TRANSPORTER-LAUNCHER AND RADAR (TLAR) ARE IDENTIFIED FOR THE
FIRST TIME III ALGERIA. THIS IS THE THIRD KNOWN DEPLOYMENT OF
THE SA-8 SAM SYSTEM OUTSIDE THE WARSAW PACT FORCES. LA SENIA
IS THE MAJOR STORAGE AND TRATISSHIPMENT FACILITY FOR ARMS
DELIVERIES ARRIVING THROUGH HERS EL KEBIR PORT FACILITY.
LA SENIA VEHICLE PARK IS APPROXIMATELY 4 N11 SOUTH OF MERS EL
KEBIR PORT FACILITY.
