1. (S/D) SIGNIFICANCE: FIGHTER AIRCRAFT HAVE BEEN DEPLOYED TO
THIS AIRFIELD IN SOUTHERN ARGENTINA.
2. (S/D) REMARKS: I I18 A-4 SKYHAWK FIGHTER/BOMBER
AIRCRAFT, TWO MB-326/339 TRAINER/GROUND ATTACK AIRCRAFT, AND
TWO C-130 TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT (ON RUNWAY) WERE AT RIO GALLEGOS
AIRFIELD (GRAPHIC 1 OF 2). EIGHT A-4 SKYHAWK FIGHTER/BOMBER
AIRCRAFT WERE ON A PARKING APRON IN A SUPPORT AREA ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF THE AIRFIELD (GRAPHIC 2 OF 2). A-4 SKYHAWK
FIGHTER/BOMBER ARE NOT NORMALLY DEPLOYED AT THIS
CIVIL/MILITARY AIRFIELD.
