CONSTRUCTION ON TI-IE AIIVAZ - KHORRARISHAIHR RAIL LINE WAS
2. (SWN) REMARKS: IRANIAN TRACK REPAIR ACTIVITY WAS OBSERVED
ALONG THE AHVAZ-KHORRAMSHA APPROXIMATELY
20.5 NM SOUTHWEST OF AHVAZ TRACK
REPAIR ACTIVITY HAD EXTENDED AN ADDITIONAL 13.5 NM
SOUTHWEST ALONG THE RAIL LINE (GRAPHIC 2). A TOTAL OF
44 NM OF TRACK HAD BEEN REPAIRED ON THIS RAIL LINE
TN ADDITION A RATLYAR1; WAS OBSERVED UNDER
COIN1ST~CTION APPROXIMATELY 40 NM SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF AHVAZ
AT 30-48-ION 048-11-OOE (GRAPHIC 3). 1I1IIEN COMPLETE, THIS
RAILYARP WILL PROBABLY CONSIST OF ONE THROUGH-LINE AND FIVE
SIDINGS, AND WILL IMPROVE THE IRANTAN T nr,TSTTCS ANT) SUPPLY
