SUBJECT: Appropriations for 1988
REFERENCE: Comptroller memorandum dated 29 September 1987,
same subject
1. Congress has extended through 16 December 1987 the Continuing
Resolution authorizing the obligation and expenditure of funds for 1988.
The general guidelines stated in the reference will remain in effect.
2. A cable is being sent to the field informing them of this extension.
We will keep you apprised of this situation as more information becomes
available.
