SUBJECT: ACG Significant Activities for 1st Qtr FY-88
1. Procurement Division, Office of Logistics, awarded a
$3,855,396 Firm Fixed Price contract to The Richards Corporation of
McLean, Virginia, on 30 September 1987. The contract provides the
National Photographic Interpretation Center with High Intensity
Fixed Optics (HFO) Light Tables and Light Table Mensuration Systems
(LTMS). Final delivery is scheduled for completion on or before
2 September 1988.

2. Requisitions were received in Agency Contracts Group,

totaling approximately IBM has discontinued
Office of Logistics, fo.r electric III typewriters
manufacturing this selectric model, however, a significant number
has been set aside for Agency consumption. It is incumbent that
another typewriter be promptly identified and approved by the
Office of Security as a suitable replacement. This action is
scheduled for Board approval 17 November 1987.

4. Agency Contracts Group, Office of Logistics, issued a
contract to NCR Comten Incorporated of Rockville, Maryland in the
amount of $1,064,940.36 for the maintenance of NCR Comten front end
processors and related hardware currently installed throughout the
Agency in Office of Information Technology supported computer

7. Agency Contracts Group, Office of Logistics, renewed a
time and materials type annual service contract with the Richards
Corporation of McLean, Virginia. The contract provides the
National Photographic Interpretation Center with technical
maintenance and repair services for the center's light tables. The
contract has a ceiling price of $450,000 and a period of
performance of 1 October 1987 through 30 September 1988.
8. Agency Contracts Group, Office of Logistics, issued a
modification for the Office of Information Technology to provide
FY88 first quarter funding in the amount of $6,000,000 in support
of the COMIREX Automated Management System with TRW, Incorporated;
McLean, Virginia. The total estimated value of this contract is
$80,467,391 and total funding including this increase is

contract to The MITRE Corporation for $577,336. This contract
renews engineering services for Fiscal Year 1988 to support Office
of Information Technology, Operations Group, in the planning and
executing of the relocation of major computer configurations to the
$72,031,803.
New Headquarters Building. This contract is a follow-on action as
a result of Agency Contracts Review Board sole source approves
granted December 1985 for FY's 86, 87, and 88, as required.
