McGarry & the Movies, Round 2
Most novelists complain when they see
their work up on the screen, but they never
give up hope and the movie money usually
is good. Maybe that's why Ch_ a=1es
I McGarry, a -former CIA a ent-turned-
nove ist, is about to sell another book "The
Last Suut-er " to the movies. A few years
ago his spy-genre novel, "Better Angels,"
was turned into what was generally agreed
was an awful movie called "Wrong Is Right"
starring Sean Connery and Katharine Ross.
McGarry is philosophical about that film,
saying, "A book is a book. A film is a film."
