2. Arranged appointment with Senator Bridges for the Director at 1530 tomorrow.
3. Received call from Mrs. Brown, office of Rep. Helen Gahagan Douglas, asking
name of man on CIG Greek desk. Informed her that this could not be given out and
suggested that she try State Department for material she desired (on Greek political
prisoners).
L. Studied with Col. Strong the State Dept. "Black Book" on Greece and Turkey,
classification of which has been removed at the insistence of the House Committee
on Foreign Affairs. It appears that no CIG material is involved.
5. Started work on Director's testimony before Senate Armed Services Committee
on the merger bill.
