1. Col. Shannon and I discussed with Col. Strong, Chief IAD,
possible State Department assistanteto CIA in connection with the
development of the CIA printing plant. PA P
2. Discussed with Mr. Blandford, House Armed Services Committee,
problems surrounding the employment of Mrs. who was
recommended by Congressman Sasscer. Informed Mr. Blandford that it
would be impossible to employ for these reasons. PA P

3. At the request of Mr. Klinkscales, legate
Farrington of Hawaii as to his knowledge of who was
25X9 born in Hawaii and has had long experience in China. While Delegate
Farrington's contacts with _ have been limited, he states that
associations in Hawaii are all in his favor and that he has
been associated with conservative anti-comminist, anti-Koumintang
elements.
