Friday - 14 April 1950
1. Informed Mr. Arens, Immigration Subcommittee of the
Senate Judiciary Committee, that this Agency had no opposition to the
provis~i n of the House DP law which would permit 15,000 DP's from
behincdAIron Curtain, and that they would in all probability receive
the most thorough screening of any of the personnel allowed into
this country under the DP legislation.
2. Mr. Barber, Bureau of the Budget, informed me that
Senator Wherry had in his possession photostatic copies of the police
record of the CIA employee engaged in homosexual activities, and planned
to make use of same on the floor of the Senate at an appropriate time.
I have transmitted this information to the Director.
3. Spoke to Mr. Gonzalez, Sen. Chavez' office, and told
him we were going to have to let Nog~ go, and he said as long as he
was not doing the job it was all right with them.
