Thursday - 27 April 1950
1. Mr. McCormack informed me that on the 18th of April he
discussed with the President the question of a homosexual in CIA. I
have informed Mr. McCormack, with the Director's authority, that we
now have the necessary resignation.
2. Discussed with Congressman Holifield the problem of
accumulated leave, and will supply him with a copy of our letter on
this subject to Chairman! Cannon. Mr. Holifield will attenrpt to
secure an exemption for us.
