1. Talked with Congressman Hale
about whom the Congressman had called the n orme
the Congressman that we were very appreciative of his offer and that we were making
a security investigation hor possible utilization. STATINTL

2. Mr. Higgins of the office of Senator Green informed me that an
apartment house is being built on the corner of Connecticut and Albemarle Streets,
with a 4 story bomb shelter basement built to civilian defense specifications. Re-
quests information as to whether CIA would like to utilize same.
3. Talked with Senator Robertson (Va.) in connection with Senator
Robertson's letter of 20 January 1951 regarding Judge N. R. Allman. Informed the
Senator that we had had extensive conversations with Judge Allman.
