cussed at a meeting between Mr. Peyton Ford, Deputy Attorney General and Mr. Horan
of his staff, and Messrs. Allan Dulles, Pforzheimer, White, 11 1
of CIA. Mr. Ford was briefed on on our problems in this connection and
ge ull and complete cooperation of the Department of Justice. He also stated
that a letter would be forthcoming, that theDepartment did not consider Sec. 8 of
the CIA Act toe an immigration law and therefore not repealed or affected by the
Internal Security Act of 1950.
