1. Mr. Harold Bergman, of the staff of the Joint Congressional Committee
on Atomic Energy, called to inquire when the CIA semi-annual report would be
available for the Committee. I informed him that I hoped this report would be
available during the present week as it was well advanced.

2. General Reber, Chief of Legislative Liaison, Department of the Army,
called to state that he had received a letter from the property owner adjoining the
requesting certain information regarding
the property. Gen. Reber will give an interim reply and forward the letter to us for
the preparation of an answer.
3. Mr. Kelley, of the staff of the Senate Interstate & Foreign Commerce
Committee, called to inquire whether we might not furnish certain information
regarding munitions plants and power development in Shanghai. These questions
have arisen in connection with the trip of Mr.. Hansen of the Committee Staff to the
Far East.
