Armstrong of Missouri has requested assist-
ance in securing a Government auditoriuan for a conference on Psycholog-
ical Warfare and allied subjects during February 22 and 23. Lire Charles
Johnson, PS Legislative Officer, has advised the CIA Legislative Counsel
that sponsorship Is to include, in addition to Mr, Armstrong, Conrrosssoe?k
Kersten (L. -1 .s and Dom (fl, * S, Car) and possibly Kennedy (D.-Mass) and
Hialeis (D,-'rk), as well as Dr. Dobriasnaky of Georgetown University.
The conference is expected to include a discussion of underground move-
msnts, breaking of relations bot en the 'United States and Satellite coun-
tries and sizilar subjects. STATINTL
Mr. Johnson also advises that Q will probably tAke steps
insure that the ? ting is not held in a Government building an that the`)
State Departmarat plans no direct approach to Congress tr tron can this
matter but is discussing it with other congress3asaen on the Hou3e Foreign
