3. Senator Knowland, Senate Minority Leader, has accepted the Director's
invitation to luncheon on Monday, 28 February.
4. The Senate has approved the expenditure of $125, 000 for their Committee
on Post Office & Civil Service to make a complete study and investigation of the ad-
ministration of the Government's security program. It should be noted that in the
course of this investigation the Committee may wish certain data from CIA in con-
nection with its security program.
