L, Mr. McTigue, Counsel to the Yersten Committee on Corgi
munist Aggression, called me on 14 April to inquire whether the Committee
could utilize the Romanian defector Georgescu and his 2 sons a at the
forthcoming hearings in New York. fie called us under the misapprehen-
sion that Georgescu was under our control. I have informed him that
this is not the case and that he could approach Georgescu in any manner
