SUBJECT: Inquiry from House Committee on
Education & Labor regarding
Federal educational activities.
I talked to Mr. Quattlebaum about this inquiry
and he wants no confidential information; in fact, I believe
if we gave him an essentially negative report we would
hear no more. I mentioned that primarily we gave only+
special training in individual cases to increase an em-
ployee's efficiencyl
FOIAb5 suggested that this or any other
training we did was of such a minor nature as not to
constitute a program within the contemplation of their
request. Please give us your comments and suggestions
so that we may reply to the Committee.
