Enclosed is a copy of the monthly Rotary magazine.
It helps give some idea about the club and its' institu-
tions. The Rotary Club of Petersburg came into being in
1917 and is one of the oldest clubs in the country. Under
its' sponsorship five other clubs have been founded in
this area (1924-1955). Club membership is around 130 and
consists of a cross-sectional representation of business
and the professions. The club meets weekly and has a
program (speaker) for each meeting. In addition to fellow-
ship, one of the binding factors of membership is pervasive
interest in most any subject. The Petersburg Club, on
several occasions, has expressed a particular interest in
the subject of intelligence. I am sure Mr. Carlucci will
experience an attentive, receptive audience.
Enclosed, also, is a map of directions for your secu-
rity escort. We plan, however, to have plenty of guides
available, as needed.
I will phone you the week of the 13th for final arrange-
ments.
