middle-ar;ed bureaucrats wino drive

suburbs each mornin', to shuffle
papers in i:uvernntent. departments such
as Agriculture, Traur?portation, and
Health, lidttcatton and Weil:ere. A
superior bureaucrat (l'rinceron and the
Columbia ht:,- School) who has culti-
vated the anonymity of his kind :
glasses, short back and sides, and sack
suit..
He is a family nian and a devout
Catholic, who one.` was chairman of the
Boy Scouts in Sprin::field, Maryland.
Ile would probably still be cliair'titatt
execpt that over the years he served in
