Potendometric measurements during hydrogenation of
fats and of their simplest analkwa, unsaturated acid
eaters, give a correct indication of the change In forty
acid composition and of the sequence in the saturation
of acidii of dIfferent degrees of unseturstion. With hy-
drogenation of fete In solvents, the psoc me is wffl-
clently selective. The potentionwric method Is very
suitable for a study of the reaction w3ectivity during
hydrogenation of both natural fate wd oils and their
synthetic analogues. (Author)
