The luminescence spectra and the long-wave portion of
the absorption spectra of pyrene and 3.4-benzopyrene
in solutions of normal paraffinic hydrocarbons from
n-pentane to n-decane have been studied at the temper-
ature of lijuid nitrogen. It was shown that underthese Negative copy loan
condJtions the spectra exhibit a linear fine structure from O'M
