Sixty -eight typhoid patients were treated to determine
the effectiveness of varioujk treatments on phagocytoals.
In most patients, a favorable course of convalescence
progressed. Phagocytoels at the typhoid bacilli was
found to be about twice as intense as that of the Shigell
sonnet. A second examination showed a decrease in
phagocytosla of Sonne's bacilli to normal levels and a
marked increase regarding typhoid microbes in
patients whose convalescence was favorable. 'I'he offin af Tedskal semm
