Met with Stanley Tracy. of the staff of the Commission
on Government Security, at which time he stated it was the
intent of the Commission to exempt CIA from. its proposed
loyalty and security program. I told Mr. Tracy that the
draft legislation did not altogether reflect this intent; and
he said that he would be glad to give us a statement in
writing as to the intent of the Commission if we so desired.
I told him that we would avail ourselves of his kind offer.
