1. Attached is a summary of the obligations, commitments
and expenditures in FAN 81-2000, New Headquarters Building
(NHB) Construction for February and March 1988 (Attachment A).
For FY 84, three commitments totaling $59,307 were transferred
to FY 85. We obligated $4,637.42 and expended $5,091.68 for
Palmar blueprints. We expended $7,290 for a site survey of the
area between the northwest side of the NHB and the Printing &
Photography (PPD) Building and $9,253.80 for the numbering of
the offices in the NHP. We obligated $9,047.50 for tamper
resistant screws and $65,000 to provide additional electrical
poweni14r conditioning for the self-filter room in the

2. For FY 85, we decommitted $12,000 for the truck wheel
washing station. We obligated $18,196 and committed an
additional $3,500 for modifications to the South Filter (B/B)
room. We committed $24,476 to test for leakage on the
southside chilled water line; obligated $9,777 to re-pipe the
main condensate lines; obligated $7,384 for repair of water
damage to the Office of Technical Service (OTS) area in the
NHB; and committed $6,000 for renovations to rooms 6D012 and

6D011. We obligated $40,707 and committed an additional $7,439
for roof drains and water softeners for the Central Plant. We
committed $102,975.54 to install the partial height partitions;
$10,000 for completion of the "GB" corridor which leads from
the Old Headquarters Building (OHB) to the South Loading Dock;
$3,000 to install and connect fiber optic cable for the fire
alarm system; $60,126 for the PASS project and $3,000 to
provide power and cooling for room 3C076. We obligated
$378,200 and recommitted $71,800 for the OTS lab renovations.
We obligated $53,277 to install new floor grates in the
Powerhouse. We reduced our commitment for the RF Shield by
$43,238.36 and obligated the balance of $71,048. We expended
$12,880 for the extension of three conduit banks; $19,958.07
for the RF Shield; $84,599.46 for architectural and engineering
services for the cafeteria expansion; $473 for electrical and
chilled water service; and $775,334.87 for the Route 123
improvements. We reduced our obligation for interest penalty
125X1 by $349.72.
3. The monthly Open Obligation Activity Report (00AR) and
the Open Commitment Activity Report (OCAR) for this FAN as of
29 February and 31 March 1988 are provided as Attachment B.
